PROGRAM SUMMARY

You shouldn't have to tell a client you can't work with them anymore due to a financial barrier. CTI can prevent this by covering the gap in your clients ability to pay. Tell us about your clients financial issue and, if approved, we'll pay you for their sessions.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

You have a CPTSD client who has financial issues which require them to stop treatment.

​

You send an application to CTI explaining your clients financial needs and what you need to cover any gap in their ability to pay.

​

If approved, CTI will pay you an agreed-upon amount for each session for up to 50 sessions or 12 months, whichever comes first. After the 50 sessions or 12 months, you may apply for additional payments if needed.​​

​

After each client session, you simply submit a payment request, and we send you a check directly.

It really is that simple, you have a client that can't pay your entire fee and we send you check for the difference. Keep reading for all the details.

WHAT ARE THE QUALIFICATIONS?

Clinician 

​

CTI is committed to providing clients with the most qualified clinicians in the treatment of CPTSD. One way we do this is by ensuring we only work with clinicians who have received the best training. To apply for this program, you must have completed at least Level I - The Complexities of Complex Trauma of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation's (ISST-D) Professional Training Program. The higher the level you've completed, the more CTI pays (see compensation schedule below). Other training programs will be included in the future.

Client​ 

 

​Your client must meet 2 qualifications:​​

1.)

Diagnosed with CPTSD according to the ICD VII. See diagnostic criterion here

Has a substantive financial barrier impeding your clients ability to pay for treatment. Examples may include:

  • Lack of employment.​

  • Low income.

  • Financial obligations that take precedence over treatment.

  • A long standing client who changed to insurance carrier you don't accept.

  • Loss of insurance coverage.

Financial issues can take a variety of forms, this is why we refrain from providing strict guidelines. We want you to have the opportunity to make the case for your clients unique challenge when you apply for services.​

COMPENSATION

One of CTI's goals is to increase the pool of high quality Mental Health services available to clients with CPTSD. We believe, for many reasons, that this can't be achieved without healthy compensation for clinicians. Our compensation is targeted to fair market rates while rewarding your investment in developing your skills. 

 

You work hard and sacrifice everyday for your clients. You deserve to be taken care of as well.

Below is a list of the maximum compensation you may request per session based on your training. The more training you complete, the higher the compensation level. Other training programs will be added in the future.

Summary of key Terms and Conditions:

  • Clinician must provide proof they meet requirements as specified above.

  • ​Payee must provide their tax ID which CTO will use to file a form 1099 with the IRS for all payments made during each tax year.

  • Payee will only be reimbursed for services provided by the clinician listed on the application.

  • CTI will not pay for missed or canceled sessions.

  • CTI reserves the right to request client records as needed to verify services CTI has paid for.

  • CTI will not pay for services rendered after the agreement expires. Payees must submit a new application if services are needed past the expiration.

  • CTI reserves the right to cease payments at any time.
